About St. Paul's

Two staff members outside of the chapel entrance at St. Paul's church. One is holding a bunch of colorful balloons, and both are wearing COVID masks.

 Welcome!

In the words of St. Paul, "Nothing can separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord." We celebrate an inclusive, inviting, and welcoming life of faith with dignified liturgy, excellent music, and relevant preaching. We are a community of resurrection and hope, and here you will find strength for the journey.

St. Paul's is an Affirming Church. You can learn more about the welcoming work that the St. Paul's Pride Ministry is doing by clicking here.

Fellowship

Church is a gathering place of welcome where we build relationships.

Formation

Sermons are inspiring, and you will find a variety of learning opportunities for all ages.

Community

We serve the Salem community with work and generosity. Through our Diocese and the Episcopal Church we help make a better world.

Our Mission

We are part of the Episcopal branch of the Jesus Movement, and we are part of the Worldwide Anglican Communion. We are called to work for the Kingdom of God which means acting to bring Justice, peace, and respect for the dignity of every human being into our lives and our community. We hope you will join us in this holy work.

COVID-19 Guidelines

Covid 19 is a highly infectious viral disease. Following the witness of the Gospel of love we are committed to supporting the health and wellbeing of everyone in our church community, especially the most vulnerable among us.

You will need to make your own decision on wearing a mask.

As you decide whether to wear a mask or not there are a number of things to consider:

  • If you wish to continue to wear a mask you are encouraged to do so. We will strive not to create any stigma about wearing or not wearing a mask
  • If you are sick or feel unwell, we strongly recommend that you stay home and refrain from coming to church
  • If you belong to a group or ministry that wants to continue to wear masks at meetings, again you are welcome to create your own norms for your group or ministry
  • Please continue to use the hand sanitizer provided and practice frequent hand washing
